Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a full detail take?

+

Paint enhancement is typically 1–2 days. Full paint correction is 3 days. Ceramic coating adds an additional curing period of 48–72 hours after application. We always give you a realistic timeframe when you book.

What is ceramic coating and how long does it last?

+

Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds chemically to your paintwork, creating a hard, hydrophobic layer. It repels water, dirt, UV and bird droppings far more effectively than wax. Professional grades last 2–5+ years depending on maintenance.

What's the difference between paint correction and a machine polish?

+

A machine polish (single-stage) improves gloss and removes light defects — around 50–60% correction. Full paint correction uses multiple stages of compound and polish to remove deeper swirl marks and scratches — 70–100% correction. We assess under specialist lighting and advise honestly on which your car needs.

Will paint correction remove all scratches?

+

Paint correction removes defects within the clear coat. Scratches that have cut through to the base coat cannot be polished out and require a paint repair. We assess every vehicle under specialist lighting before starting so you always get honest expectations.

Is PPF worth it on a new car?

+

Absolutely. New cars are the ideal candidate because the paint is perfect. PPF applied before the first chip appears preserves that condition permanently. On motorway-driven or high-value vehicles, the protection easily pays for itself in preserved resale value.

Do you work on all vehicle types?

+

Yes — hatchbacks, saloons, SUVs, prestige vehicles, exotics, vans and commercial vehicles. Every vehicle gets the same level of care regardless of what it is.

How should I look after my car after a ceramic coating?

+

Use a pH-neutral shampoo, avoid automatic car washes with brushes, and use a ceramic-compatible maintenance spray every few months. We provide a full aftercare guide with every coating job.

How do I pay?

+

We accept bank transfer, cash and card. A deposit is required for larger jobs such as PPF and full paint correction packages. Full payment is due on collection. We always confirm pricing before starting any work.
